Whenever we’re asked what Ritzy is all about, we struggle to sum it up without mentioning the word:
CHARACTER
Our goal has always been to create memorable characters which stand the test of time.
Whether that be in 2D or 3D, or often some kind of strange hybrid, we believe that it’s personality, charisma and style that bring an animation to life, not the flashy visuals.
It could be anything - a monster, animal, ball, or even a desk lamp, as long as it moves with purpose and attitude we’re all over it.
BRIXTON
This passion began many moons ago, over a beer in Brixton. Directors Dan and Charlie decided to grab the bull by the horns and start up their own thing.
With two computers, a small room and a coffee machine that had seen better days, they grafted and crafted for 18 months.
THE BIG SMOKE
Fast forward a few years and the company is now situated in central London with a talented team of artists working on exciting projects for both big and small brands.

TEAMWORK
So what’s it like working with us?
Well, we value a client’s input and feedback as much as our own and so try to make the experience as collaborative as possible.
The word ‘client’ feels a bit corporate to us . . . can we not use that word?
For us, they play a big part in the creative process and often go on to become a good friend or colleague.
HYBRID SETUP
The world has changed, and so we’ve had to adapt our ways of working.
The studio now operates both in-house and fully remote, which means we can upscale and downscale instantly depending on the size of the beast.
It also means we can work with top talent from around the globe in the click of a button, something which proved difficult before.
